Please remember the following:
Effective March 14, 2016, please make all checks payable to JXN Tutoring. Cash is still accepted and cash payments are unaffected.
If you would like to book multiple appointments, such as on a weekly basis, we recommend you book at least the first month right away.
Please make sure you know where your tutoring appointment will be. See the locations page if you are unsure.
Know what you or your child needs to bring to appointments. A calculator (not a cell phone; smart phones are marvelously useful but make awful calculators) and pencils are almost always necessary. For standardized tests, bring a copy either The Official SAT Study Guide: 2016 Edition (for either the SAT or PSAT), The Real ACT Prep Guide, or The Official ACT Prep Guide. For academic classes, bring the textbook, current homework assignments, and previous graded homework, tests, and quizzes.
Please be aware that cancellations with less than 24 hours notice must be done by e-mail and will incur a $50 cancellation fee. Persons who miss a tutoring appointment with no notice will be charged the for the full hour ($100).
